Vanilla creme brulee

Ingredients
- 2 bottles (2 x 237 mL) Vanilla Glucerna®
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tbsp (45 mL) granulated sugar
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL) vanilla extract
- 5 tsp (25 mL) granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and 3 Tbsp sugar until pale.
- Add the Glucerna® and vanilla extract and mix together gently with a rubber spatula.
- Transfer the mixture into 5 ramekins and place the ramekins in a baking dish.
- Fill the baking dish with water midway up the ramekins.
- Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 40-55 minutes, until the cream still wiggles somewhat in the centre.
- Remove the ramekins from the baking dish and put in the refrigerator until the cream has cooled completely.
- When serving, sprinkle 1 tsp of sugar on top of each ramekin. Place under the broiler or burn the sugar with a blow torch until it has caramelized or is golden brown.
