2021 program update

The number one priority of Diabetes Canada and D-Camps continues to be the safety of all our campers, staff, volunteers, and families. Because of the continued uncertainty of the current COVID-19 pandemic in addition to the advance planning and training required for us to deliver our exceptional in person camping program, we have made the very difficult decision to focus on digital D-Camps programs in 2021.

We understand this is disappointing news. We are fully committed to providing a variety of exceptional, FREE, digital D-Camps experiences in 2021. We will continue to be in touch with our D-Camps community and provide updates as soon as they become available. Our entire D-Camps team truly can’t wait to get back to seeing everyone in person – when it is safe to do so!

Join the D-Camps family

Our Family Camp is designed to focus on providing support and a sense of community to families who have a child living with type 1 diabetes. The weekend offers opportunities for families to spend time together participating in a variety of traditional camp activities. Parents and caregivers will also have time to connect with one another while the children play and get to know each other through supervised games and program activities.
