Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) skim milk 
  • ½ cup (125 mL) frozen unsweetened strawberries
  • ¼ cup (60 mL) 1% cottage cheese or plain low-fat yogurt 
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract 
  • Artificial sweetener (optional) 

Instructions

  1. In blender, combine milk, strawberries, cottage cheese and vanilla.
  2. Blend on high speed for 1 minute or until smooth.
  3. Sweeten to taste with sweetener, if desired.
