In launching the Framework for Diabetes in Canada, in October 2022, Diabetes Canada (DC) picked up the torch in late 2023 to support the expanding momentum of the Framework.
Since then, the Sustaining Momentum to Implement the Diabetes Framework project team here at DC has engaged with multi-sectoral stakeholders through hosting roundtables and summits across Canada. These meetings are held to meet and discuss diabetes management and care in each province. Here, we are able to obtain a deeper understanding of the successes, areas of improvements, initiatives that currently exist for diabetes management and care pertaining to each province.
