The new diabetes-related health programs cover everything from daily management, foot care and sick day management, to physical activity, nutrition and diet. In addition, you'll have access to evidence-based content, and can chat with nurses and dietitians for free through the PC Health app. You will also have access to a network of doctors and other health-care providers who can answer your health-related questions.
Plus, you’ll earn PC Optimum™ Points for completing daily activities.
The PC Health app is available in both English and French across Canada (with the exception of Quebec at this time).

The partnership between Diabetes Canada and Shoppers Drug Mart comes at a pivotal time in diabetes history as 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the Canadian discovery of insulin. A century later, nearly 11.7 million Canadian are living with diabetes or prediabetes. Canada has one of the highest rates of diabetes among developed countries, with someone being diagnosed every 3 minutes. We can’t wait another 100 years to end diabetes.
