Join us on July 11th for our 7th annual Cory Conacher Flame of Hope Golf Tournament at the beautiful Flamborough Hills Golf Club in Hamilton, Ontario. This community run event brings individuals and businesses together for a fantastic day of golf, while enjoying on course food and drink stations, activities, games and prizes. Welcome and thank you gifts have no golfers going home emptyhanded. Have a chance to score some amazing items at the silent auction or win big with the 50/50. Whether you are an avid golfer or looking for a day out with clients the Flame of Hope Golf will guarantee a fun-filled day while supporting your community.
Together we will raise $100,000 to support: connecting children living with type 1 diabetes through our D-Camps program, inspire healthcare professionals and individuals living with diabetes by sharing the latest information to help improve care and self-management and empower research to fund a cure!

The Purpose
Currently there are 4.7 million Ontarians living with diabetes or prediabetes. Diabetes is one of the most chronic diseases affecting people in Ontario and continues to be on the rise.
Diabetes can be stigmatizing. More than one-third of people living with type 2 diabetes do not feel comfortable disclosing their condition to others. For those with type 1 or type 2 diabetes, other people’s perceptions of diabetes can lead to experiences of guilt, shame, embarrassment, or isolation.
The Impact
Our vision is a world free of the effects of diabetes that’s why we’re working together to improve the quality of life of people living with diabetes. We’re sharing knowledge and creating connections for individuals and the healthcare professionals who care for them; advocating through public policy; and funding research to improve treatments and find a cure to End Diabetes.
Over the last 6 years, the Cory Conacher Flame of Hope Golf Tournament has raised over $300,000 for Diabetes Canada, supporting the 11.7 million Canadians affected by diabetes and empowering research to fund a cure!
